Meatloaf Florentine- I wrote out your recipe.Kevin cook and Raph behind the cameraMix the following ingredients until just combined.2 lbs meat 1 ½ lb of ground beef and ½ ground pork / use what you like1/3 C milk¾ C bread crumbs2 eggs1 onion chopped and sautéed in butter½ C chili sauce (not super hot) Old School oregano, marjoram, or Herb de Province (whatever you like)Wax paperTake meatloaf and place it on the wax paper. Flatten in the shape of a rectangleLayer frozen and defrosted spinach (1 pound dried off) Layer 6 or 7 Ham slices or bacon on top of the spinachRoll the loaf and fold the ends down so that they are sealedLift the wax paper to help roll the loaf.Place in dish with aluminum foil for easy clean upBake 350 degrees 1 hourPaint chili sauce( ketchup, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce) on top before placing in the oven. Check it.Give it one more coating with chili sauce and then layer swiss cheese (4 slices angled) on the top of the meattloaf. Bake for 15 more minutes.
A good pinch of pepper and salt is also mixed into the meat.
