Meatloaf Florentine

  3. Meatloaf Florentine- I wrote out your recipe.

    Kevin cook and Raph behind the camera

    Mix the following ingredients until just combined.
    2 lbs meat 1 ½ lb of ground beef and ½ ground pork / use what you like
    1/3 C milk
    ¾ C bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    1 onion chopped and sautéed in butter
    ½ C chili sauce (not super hot) Old School
    oregano, marjoram, or Herb de Province (whatever you like)

    Wax paper
    Take meatloaf and place it on the wax paper. Flatten in the shape of a rectangle
    Layer frozen and defrosted spinach (1 pound dried off)
    Layer 6 or 7 Ham slices or bacon on top of the spinach

    Roll the loaf and fold the ends down so that they are sealed
    Lift the wax paper to help roll the loaf.

    Place in dish with aluminum foil for easy clean up

    Bake 350 degrees 1 hour
    Paint chili sauce( ketchup, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce) on top before placing in the oven. Check it.

    Give it one more coating with chili sauce and then layer swiss cheese (4 slices angled) on the top of the meattloaf.

    Bake for 15 more minutes.
